@frobozz you must be in Europe or Asia. Here in North America it is a native plant and important for many species of insects.
@mothboy We're in New Jersey. It's a weed because we don't want it in our lawn or gardens. It's invasive as in we didn't plant it but there's more of it each year. My wife would pull it out but I like the flowers. As long as there isn't too much of it and it stays where we let things like that grow, it's fine.
