Liberals: why didn’t you vote to continue Biden’s polite genocide? I was comfortable with that. Now I’m uncomfortable with Trump’s rude ethnic cleansing and it’s all your fault.
@aral Not voting when you can is plain STUPID. Even if the difference between candidates seems tiny, you should learn to make a choice.
@aral What you perceived as a tiny difference, for some people becomes the line between life and death.
@mpsi And how about the huge bloody difference between having a candidate that supports genocide and one that doesn’t. How morally vacuus are the Democrats that they cannot not support genocide, much less oppose it. (That’s a rhetorical question, by the way.)
@aral Yes, of course, it's awful. But as you said, given the circumstances, one should hold their nose and VOTE. I understand the frustration, but society as a whole and political parties specifically change course rather slowly. We can see that erosion of the default support for Israel is happening, but it will take time before the change manifests clearly.
@mpsi Yeah, which is why I told people to hold their noses and vote for Harris.
There’s a huge bloody difference between that and gloating – actually fucking gloating – that people who didn’t vote for Harris (which, ironically, include Palestinians) somehow deserve what they’re getting.
