I've been here for almost 3 months and I already have more followers than I have after 2 years on the hellsite. And my interactions are a lot more positive. There are people of substance here that have enriched my life already. Thank you all. #Mastofam
@jorsh my OG hell account from 2016 with 1500 followers was permanently suspended all because I told transphobes to shove it too many times. my newer hellsite account has fewer followers than this mastodon account that I've had since November of last year. it's cool because I know none of the people who follow me are spam or porn accounts. plus everyone here seems to have a good head on their shoulders for the most part
@jorsh I've been here still 2017 but mostly active for the last 3 months. I have less followers than on the hellsite but a lot more interactions 
@jorsh I was just thinking about that (while over on Twitter blocking hundreds of accounts for fun.)
There are accounts over there with 500K or 1M followers who get 5-6 replies on their posts.
Here, a new person with 10 followers can get 30-40 replies *easily.*
